Getting started

Install

Via HACS (recommended):

In HACS open the three-dot menu, then Custom repositories, and add https://github.com/Dreamer41/ha-smart-irrigation as type Integration.
Find ZoneFlow Irrigation and click Download.
Restart Home Assistant.

Manual install: copy custom_components/zoneflow/ into /config/custom_components/ and restart Home Assistant.

Go to Settings, Devices and Services, Add Integration, ZoneFlow Irrigation. There are four short screens:

Zone name and what's planted. The name becomes the device name and the default CSV file name. A plant preset — Tomatoes, Chilis, Leafy vegetables, Herbs, Strawberries, Flower bed, Lawn, Shrubs, Young tree, Fruit tree, or your own — pre-fills the weekly targets, crop factor, deep soak and growth ramp; every value stays adjustable afterwards.
Entities and schedule. The valve, any optional sensors, the Shared pump ID if the pump is shared, units, soil and site description, growth ramp, CSV path, deep soak on or off, and both schedules.
Climate. Your choice pre-fills the next screen.
Temperature thresholds. Hot, cool and fallback temperature, in the zone's units.

Add further zones the same way. Sensors can be added or removed later under Configure.

Set the emitter flow rate. This is the one number that must be right. A Service Run 5 min press is an easy way to measure it. See Service runs.
Seed the history dates (Last Routine, Last Deep Soak) if the plant already has a watering history, so it is not treated as overdue. See Health journal and history.
Press Service Run 1 min to confirm that the valve, pump and log all work.
Add the dashboard card. See Dashboard cards.
